KDAF-TV | Dallas/Fort Worth Love for Cute as Hell

Social networking websites for pets aren’t new, they have been around for a while. Popular websites like Dogster are bringing pet owners together. But recently, a new pet site launched, and it has become extremely popular because it's using several viral concepts.
 
"Cute as Hell" is similar to other network websites in that it lets users create a profile of their pets with pictures. But this website offers a lot more. The website offers a pet store with a lot of products, and it lets users rate them too. The content is fresh, which keeps people coming back.

But one of the coolest parts of this website is "the Thunderdome." It's the cute as hell photo competition - with a very smart concept. Instead of just one competition where people would only vote once, they divided the competition up in different rounds. People first vote on the 64 top-rated pets. After the first round, a new round starts, with new voting. This keeps going until two pets battle it out head to head to win different prizes.
Right now, they’re still in round one – and  at the end of April, the winner will be announced.

And this website is also very friendly for people who don't use their social network. You can still access all the parts of the website and browse it for cute animals.
